Feel Good

In collaboration with partners such as Shoppers Drug Mart, Partners for Care facilitates self-care workshops for clients and staff at the QE II sites, such as the Abbie J Lane. These workshops included mini-makeovers, skincare, and a sensory spa experience. 

Nova Scotia Hospital Gym 

The Hugh Bell weight room in the Nova Scotia Hospital opened in 1973 and offers weight-training equipment, boxing equipment, and cardio machines. For many inpatient units, this space is the only access to physical wellness the patients experience while in care.

In September 2025, PFC funded significant equipment upgrades. The new equipment purchased included:  two treadmills, an elliptical machine, exercise bike, kettlebells, power rack, bi-cep curl machine, hip Trainer, heavy bag and speed bag, additional dumbbells, plates, matts and more.

Touch Coffee

In November 2025, PFC signed a lease with Touch Coffee to install an automated self-serve smart coffee bar in the lobby of the Dickson Building, offering fresh, convenient hot and chilled drinks to staff, patients, and visitors at the VG campus 24/7.
